The Project Diagram

The Project Diagram View shows the whole project in a single view.

It shows all the items of a project (excluded the timers) as a diagram:

• Each item is a box. The box contains the item type (the same icons used in the project's trees) and the item's name-packag
• A relation between two items is described with a link.
  

The directions of the links follow intuitive rules:

• the link between a function and one of its input matrices points to the function.
• the link between a function and one of its output (result) matrices points to the matrix.
• the link between a matrix and a chart or presentation that uses it points to the chart or presentation.

The Project Diagram can become very complex already for middle-size projects. The following features keep it readable also in the most complex cases:

• Clicking on an item box the box itself becomes green, all the input items become blue and all the output items become red.
• Clicking on the item types buttons in the tool bar on the top of the view, all the item boxes of that type become green.

Double-clicking on an item, the item is selected in its tree in the main window.

Clicking on the Print button in the toolbar prints the diagram with a printer.

There is no button to close the window. Just use the cross button on the window's title.
